SALARY :Gross Salary DH 294,463 p.a. (Starting Salary based on 40 hours including allowances and bonus. U.S. Mission will withhold from gross salary employee’s portion of CNSS and CIMR contributions, health/life/disability insurance contributions, as well as all tax obligations as imposed by the US and/or host country governments)
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Rabat is seeking an individual for the position of Computer Management Assistant in the Executive Office. Detailed position description is available at USAID/EXO.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
This position is located in the Executive Office, USAID/Morocco. Under the direct supervision of the Computer Management Specialist, the incumbent is required to ensure the continuous operation of all IT. The incumbent provides assistance to the mission’s user community and together with the Computer Management Specialist ensures that the IT resources are used efficiently and ethically in accordance with the Agency regulations. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of Windows OS, PC/LAN hardware, software, applications, peripherals (Workstation, terminal, printer, plotter, scanner, reader, tape and disk drive, OCR and CD-ROM reader, etc.), data communication equipment (modem, server, concentrator, router, bridge, cards or controller and LAN cabling, etc.) and auxiliary equipment (UPS, Server and communication room air-conditioner, and humidity monitoring systems etc.). The incumbent reports the status of the computer center operations to the Computer Management Specialist. The incumbent installs, troubleshoots and maintains the Mission communication links with regards to proper functional operations and maintenance and other matters. Performs fine-tuning and periodic upgrades of this equipment
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: A university degree in computer science is required.
Experience: Three to five years of progressively responsible technical experience in the field of IT is required.
Language: Level IV (fluent) in English is required.
Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly. Must be able to perform all aspects of PC, WAN/LAN operation. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively will all categories of Mission and Embassy personnel. The incumbent must be able to act calmly, tactfully, and effectively under pressure in the performance of daily duties.
